Laundry pricing by weight is comparable only when you know which items and operations are included. Per-item rates, per-kilogram prices and business quotations are not automatically equivalent alternatives.
Read the unit and service together
Check whether the price covers washing, wash-and-press, pressing only or another process. Do not apply a towel rate to a dress or assume every garment is eligible for weight-based service.
Ask how billable quantity is established, which items qualify and whether minimum conditions apply. Give providers the same item list when comparing offers.
A simple example
At SPG's carpet rate of 15 Lei/kg, an item with a confirmed billable weight of 4 kg would have a basic calculation of 60 Lei. This is an arithmetic example; assessment and order conditions are confirmed at handover. Rugs must be dropped off and collected personally, without home transport.
Check timing too
Pressing takes 48–72 hours by item or 3–5 business days by weight. The apparently cheaper unit is not the only consideration: the item and service must qualify.
Orders using transport have a 200 Lei minimum; store-only orders have no minimum. See preparing a collection and the current price catalogue.
Confirm before accepting
Clarify units, included work, stain observations and turnaround. Keep the order record. For commercial batches, the quotation should also cover schedule, logistics and exceptions.

You cannot conclude that without matching the item list and included work. Compare the complete service rather than one number.
Does the 200 Lei minimum apply at the shop?
Not to store-only orders. It applies to orders using transport under the published conditions.
